Starting a Writing Practice

A short note on why I decided to start writing publicly, what I am hoping to get out of it, and what you can expect if you stick around.

I have been meaning to start writing for a while now. Not because I think the world needs another blog about investing and tech, it probably does not, but because I have noticed that the ideas I write down are sharper than the ones I just think about.

There is something about putting a thesis on paper that exposes the gaps. An investment idea that feels airtight in your head starts leaking the moment you try to explain it to someone else. That is the whole point.

What to expect

Mostly I will be writing about how AI is changing markets and the economy. That is where my head is most of the time anyway. But I will also write about investing more broadly, books I am reading, and whatever else I am trying to work through.

Some of it will be polished. Some of it will be me thinking out loud. I figure that is fine. The alternative is waiting until everything is perfect, and that usually means never shipping anything at all.

If any of this sounds interesting, stick around. And if you disagree with something I write, even better. That is where the good conversations happen.
